Elizabeth Dazzio was driving her sister and a friend home from Taylor Swift’s May 22 concert in Baton Rouge when she fell asleep at the wheel. The car crashed, knocking Elizabeth unconscious and leaving her other passengers trapped inside, unable to get out.
The girls tried to use their phones to call for help, but two of the phones were dead and the other was missing. Then they turned on their light-up bracelets from Swift’s show to attract attention from passing cars.
After waving the flashing bracelets around for a few minutes, a driver stopped, spotting the lights and figuring it was a call for help. The driver was able to help pull the girls from the car and contact emergency services.
